International admissions

International applicants are admitted through the university's own International Student Selection Examination (29 MAYIS-YÖS), which the 2026 admission guide states is conducted as an interview; candidates must score at least 70 out of 100 to be considered for placement, and any 2025 or 2026 TR-YÖS score or YÖS score from another Turkish university is also taken into account. Applications for the 2026-2027 intake ran 15-25 August 2026 through the online system at https://obs.29mayis.edu.tr/yos/, and the guide states that no fee is charged for the application or the examination. Places are offered either as full scholarship quotas (restricted by nationality and date of birth) or as 50%-discounted quotas. The 2026-2027 guide lists programme-specific tuition; confirm the exact current amount payable for your programme and scholarship category against the cited official admission guide and tuition page before accepting an offer. Students placed in English-, Arabic- or Turkish-medium programmes who fail the relevant proficiency examination attend a compulsory one-year preparatory programme.
